Samples: Carl Zeiss Jena DDR Tessar 2.8/50

This is one of a handful of old lenses I'm testing out on my A7 with a cheap Fotodiox Pro M42 adapter.

First shot is rather "processed", but I'll add some plainer test shots/crops later.

I always loved the Zeiss Tessar on older cameras, not least because it was reliably sharp and gave very good contrast, in a time when other lenses sometimes weren't and didn't!

Anyway, here are a few images to show bokeh and sunstars from the near-straight-sided pentagonal iris on the cute zebra-striped version.
