Hi Dave, nice shot and the quality of the lens shows with almost no flare right against the sun.
Care to tell us how you mounted it on your A7?. Did you convert it to A-mount with Leitax and then used the LA-EA3 or 4 to get it on the camera, or do you use a R-mount to E-mount adapter? |

I'm using a leica-r to leica-m adapter and a leica-m to e-mount helicoid (I think Roxen)
It's not the smoothest thing to operate and you have to remember to check the adapter if fully retracted for shots at infinity but apart from these points it is a good alternative to the £300 Voigtlander helicoid mount. The MFD of the lens is 50cm and is reduced to about 25cm with the adapter so I'm very happy with it. |

Leitz Summicron-R - 3 cam from 1978
Far, far less expensive that I thought a Leica should be. Summicron R (3 of 3) Summicron R (1 of 3) |
