Wow looks impressive, I'd imagine that it would be hard to focus but you seem to have gotten some nice shots!

I got more keepers than I thought on the moving dogs. Focus peaking works well at f4+.

Thanks. I was going to say I was lucky with the light, but when I saw the light I made a dash for the coast to try out the 'new' lens.

Very nice, I`ve been looking for one of these without managing to snag one yet, Fujinon made I believe?

I'm not sure, there seem to be several claimed manufacturers and there are different version which may well come from different factories.

Nice anyway, the colours are reminiscent of some fujinon lenses I`ve tried, it would be nice to see some FF samples if you have any? TFS.

I was using a speed booster so they are effectively full frame.

I have Porst 35/2.8 which is soso, and I never took this brand seriously; but this 55/1.2 seems to be in another league. TFS!

It would be very interesting to see it on FF!

I've added a couple of wide open shots (at the top).

Some wide-open shots.

Body: ILCE-7, adapter: K&F Concept PK-NEX.

Note: my copy of the lens actually stops down to f22, but from my research it seems that the optical scheme is unchanged, and the performance is very similar to the version that stops down to f16.

Some stopped-down shots.

Body: ILCE-7, adapter: K&F Concept PK-NEX or Cosina Voigtlander PK-NEX.

Note: For some reason the Cosina Voigtlander PK-NEX actually blocks part of the light path and introduces harsh vignetting on this particular lens, which have been cropped out from the final product of the two vertical shots taken with that adapter.
