additional information: This lens was also known as Mitakon CREATOR 1:2/35mm. It comes in Canon EF (with chip), Nikon F, Pentax K, and Sony/Minolta A mounts. This lens does not offer auto aperture or open-aperture metering capability on any version, which means that there are no aperture coupling on the Nikon F, Pentax K, and Sony/Minolta A versions. The Pentax K version also did not fully comply with original K mount specifications, lacking the slot for the aperture simulator which is used by K mount lenses with aperture automation to mechanically communicates the position of the aperture ring to the body. Therefore this lens can only be safely used on cameras with a "crippled" K mount and might damage Pentax film SLRs if force mounted. However this does in theory make it safe to be adapted to Sony A mount. The price between mounts differ, with Sony A being the highest and Nikon F being the lowest.
