It's been awhile since I bought any new glass but, I did.
I just bought the Samyang 75mm f1.8. If you're interested in seeing it in action
I made a video review.
A pretty straight forward video. An outing to test my new Samyang 75mm f1.8 portrait lens. All sample photos are shot at f1.8 The sample video was also shot wide open. I highly recommend this little lens. It is very sharp wide open. Small, light with really good AF. I did some tests on the A6600 and AF was even more snappy. It was no slouch on the A7R3 either.
I also updated the lens page with this info

Party day! Thanks for the vid. That lens and the 45/1.8 get really good reviews, not just for the price, you got it silly cheap. Also interesting it has a switch!

Thanks for the video and review. That lens might well be my next purchase if the GAS flares up again!

Yes I have not bought any e mount lenses in a couple of years. I had nothing in this focal length other than zooms f4...This lens is a great one to add when GAS strikes. My next GAS purchase might just be the Samyang 24 f1.8....even though I already own the Sony 28 f2...That lens never really impressed me.
