Winter indoor pool fun!
I detest bugs, especially spiders.

Failed !

I've just received my Fuji Instax 210.
I need to practice with selfies with flash.
(I also need more room and a new closet to tidy up all that gear).

I include in the definition of self-portraits when I set the camera controls and hand the camera to someone to take the picture. (and in which case I should be berated: I'd been shooting some action swimming shots and had boosted the shutter speed considerably; I should have slowed the shutter speed somewhat for this photo so the auto-ISO would come down a bit.)
I detest bugs, especially spiders.

And here's a "true" self-portrait, with camera on tripod and 10sec timer.

Family

a99 and ZA24/2 at f5.6, 1/20sec, ISO1000

I misjudged slightly where I should have the focus plane; I should have focused slightly closer to the camera because Louise is not perfectly in focus but this is one of the first times I've ever done a posed family portrait type portrait and I didn't realize she was less in a line with everyone else like I should have.
I detest bugs, especially spiders.

You'll rarely see a photo of me, so don't get used to it :-)

SLT-A57, Minolta 50/2.8 Macro, tripod, remote, light from window and flash. That reversing rear LCD is very useful for this type of photo...

Happy Thursday,
