Is Sony 28-70mm kit zoom comparable to Carl Zeiss 24-70mm zoom? You may check this in my newest mini test of Sony FE 28-70mm F3.5-5.6 OSS lens.

Thanks Hawk
I must have missed last years posts and while accepting Miranda & others comments I'm sure it's a useful addition to the database of lenses - your personal comments are also great All the best Richard T |

I've taken the time to read some tests, having some lenses out of your list. These tests contains some information i've also seen while testing some lenses.
And i'm gonna take that 28-70 kitlens to try that out too. Thank you for posting your data and comments on all this glass. |

Glad to know that you found my little tests interesting. I'll be posting more soon as I've already tested some 50-58mm lenses and plan to test 85-135mm ones if time will allow.

And my last 35mm prime. Perhaps I'll test some zooms starting at 35mm if time will allow.

Yes, it is the best of the cheap 50mm Minolta MD lenses. There is F1.2, but way more expensive. If you wonder if it is worth additional bucks, here is my short test of it :-)
