Here's some from the first batch from the recent trip to N. Myrtle Beach this year.

These first two Osprey shots were when I was still struggling with the 100-400APO autofocusing on the a700. Partial crops on both, too.
1

2

3-A popular perch next door

4-All of these unless noted with the a700/100-400APO.

5-Mockingbird, the State Bird of South Carolina I do believe

6-From the new Nature Reserve, which I didn't discover until the end of the trip

7-With the 7D/100-400APO. So far one of my favs from the trip

more to come, thanks fer lookin'...

Egret from Waves, NC...we're on vacation right now and I have a few minutes of down time...so I thought I'd do this from my laptop (so, I can't really tell the quality compared from home...)

These are excellent Harout. Have a look at the post as now edited and you should be able to figure out what to do.

If not read through this guide.

What lens was being used?

Dr Harout I love the effect of (I assume) a white building in background reflecting on the water in your Swan shot. My water always come out with a muddy or green look. This has a much cleaner and brighter look.

My bantam cockerel. Not a wild bird -- but it's a bird

I took this shot while trying out a recently acquired Sigma 75-300 APO lens. I wanted a bit of glass with a longer reach than my 70-200 SSM, but as I cannot justify the expense of a long G lens,I opted for this lens at L52 instead. I have to say that for the price, I'm quite impressed by it's performance.
A700; 300mm; ISO 400; f/5.6; 1/320; Aperture priority
