I do not shoot many birds, I stick to the easier stuff ! These were taken recently in the gardens of a hotel I was staying. The Green Woodpecker is proabably the most 'exotic' wild bird I have ever captured, shame it is not very good. I only saw it this once and was shooting from the bottom of the tree and the highlights are 'blown' these are the best I can squeeze out of the shots.
A700 1/2/6 with 70-200ssm 3/4/5 with Tamron 200-500 (exif included) 1. Green Woodpecker

3 Mother (is this a mistle thrush) ? 
4. Mother & Chick 
5. And the ubiquitous Robin 
6. And this one you have probably seen before featured in Exhibition 54 recently.

First one of these I've managed pics of. This one's a juvenile, the adult males are the one's with that big red bladder at the neck.
