Don't know about that, a kiwi would be more patriotic

It's lovely crisp, clear photo however. How close were you?

Across the road from a tall power pole. 200-500 Tamron lens.
I forgot to set ISO back to 200.

Well he is my country's bird so lets see yours.

The great Blue has been sitting on the point so I wandered out and took a few shots in the noon sun. I tried out the new ACR 5.1 exposure brush on his face as it was quite bright.
One of the last shots on the Tamron 200-500 as I await the Minolta 400mm 4.5. Watch for it in For Sale.

New thread, same bird posted before, but this one was shot a week later. Still sitting in the same spot every evening.

Love the birds on the fence jmeviking. Nice colours, composition.
I'd crop in to lose the post top left... and probably the lamp lower left as well.

I always enjoy the bird shots series. You all provide things I would never otherwise get the opportunity to see. THANKS!

I've been very busy at work so sorry I haven't had time to post much. I cought these last weekend at a very local place. I'm using a new workflow.

"On the Shore"

"Heron BIF" - very little croping and very wide aperture.
