Walked out the door to see some movement in the tall palm out front. A pair or Rainbow Lorikeets, so what to do but try take a couple photos before the light fades away;
1. What do I spy
2. Better get the big gun out and a monopod, a pair of Rainbow Lorikeets
3. Feeding on some palm seed it seems
4. Thought these guys did fruit only
5. Seems they like some seeds too

A group of 5 herring gulls (one adult and four young of different ages judging by the plumage) foraging on the beach:

This Coopers Hawk let me get pretty close. I guess at 30 feet up, he felt safe.
Being harassed by a crow.
Up close and personal.

Just for fun.

Thanks. Those were taken with an A-700 with a Tamron 200-500. Pretty good lens for BSOB shots. (Birds Sitting On a Branch) :-)
