rovhazman great DC Cormorant shots. You got his green eyes in that first shot and the double crests.
P0larbear that's a Yellow Crowned Night Heron. Usually sleeping under the canopy of a tree midday and hunts morning and evening.

Hi guys,

here's a heron shot I took yesterday.
It is nothing spectacular, but somehow the composition made me dizzy,
do you see what is going on here?

That would be the rare Austrian Dwarf Heron.

Or the even rarer Alpine Giant Glowstick.......

Yeah, I like that, the rare Austrian Dwarf Heron.
"Zwergraureiher" in German, of course.
Have you ever had something similar happen in a photo?

aa I love the Kite picture and the warm colors. That big empty space on left is unbalancing the composition.

Now that's unkind, putting such a beautiful bird right after the unfortunate bald cardinal!

Lovely lighting, looks like a museum display! Is the second highlight in the eye from a flashgun?

thanks tbmike and yes it's really unbalanced it's just me, i just like to show the colors of the clouds in the bg but thanks for the good comment


@jagged, yes i tried to use the built-in flash bec light is too low, thanks too
