Arescrew, the duckling in the weeds is wonderful, really great shot, what lens did you use?

JamesD, the duck in the water is georgous. Did you use a flash to get the shot I love the the reflection in the eye.

Beautiful shots everyone. Wish I could comment on them individually, but they're all very good. Looks like the Northern Hemisphere birdlife is "warming up".

There really are some great shots here, well done everyone - I will have to get more patient with my shooting and go out somewhere with my tripod and a chair and really settle in, I'm too impatient!!

It seems churlish to pick on one of a series of great contributions to this thread, so please regard this crop idea as a humble suggestion only.



I used the same "pano" style crop myself on this oystercatcher shot.

That first frame Keith is a little "heavy", don't you think -- I much prefer the second. The first pic, however, is the best.
