I was shooting what I think was a Scarlet Finch or Rosefinch, when it suddenly flew off. I liked this shot much better than the perched shot.

First opportunity I've had to go out in about a month and the light was not wonderful, but these black skimmers were putting on a pretty good show.
I love the curve of their wings; very graceful birds.
They do pretty good in the pairs events, too.

These two today while visiting the rose gardens at Mottesfont Abbey.
Go 'way I'm hiding (5D Tamron 55-200 @180 1/400 f5)
I want my mum (5d Tamron 55-200 @200, 1/125 f5.6)
Would appreciate comments on which is the better of the two.
