Here is one sexy bird I captured in Hervey Bay, Queensland Australia. It's a Brown Boobie, ...look how it dived for a fish.

Hello Mike,
I like shooting those jong birds too (will post some pisc later) but to answer your question. I like the position of the first one and the colors of the second one. Say what...that won't help LOL. Greatings, Theo PS used the reply button for the first time, so let's see what will happen. |

Great shots again.
Maskedmann's Heron taking flight is great, and Themisa's ultra close ups are spectacular, also. Here are my humble shots: ![]() ![]() I don't get around much so I have take photos from where I live. both were taken with a minolta 400/4.5 + 1.4 TC, rather heavy... greetings, Bernd |

Hello
I have been considering to purchase a 1.4 TC to my 400/4.5 APO G ! I'm shooting mostly birds, and after seen these photos, it's no doubt. I just have to have a 1.4 TC !! |

Hi, yeah, in terms of sharpness and even AF speed you won't be disappointed!
Without a tripod, it's a bit tricky though... I guess it's over 3kgs which is a lot after a while.... greetings, Bernd P.S: larger shots here: Gallery Edited by Ausgezeichnet - 08 June 2007 at 08:56 |
