@ davesmith Champion capture -- I have not seen such a shot before with one of Australia's great icons in the background. Blue tit, just flewn out of the nest..a little disoriented so we had to pick all the chicks (5) up from the ground and place them in a tree, otherwise the cats would have a big fiesta..

One more.
A Common Kestrell chick who crashed a couple of days after leaving the nest, totally exhausted and unable to take care of itself.. I took the rare opportunity to get very close to this beautiful bird of pray and shot a series of portraits before catching the bird and pass him over to the authorities...I sure hope he'll get along good after beeing fead up.
