I guess it kind of moved into the area because of my mom's new neighbor. He set up a rather large bird feeder that attracts so many different birds including ducks believe it or not. Well, such a large population of birds attracts the local area prince of raptors as well. ![]() Enjoy, Niko |

Well I just picked up my second lifer via the public transit system. There's an immature Scott's Oriole in Union Square park. Just in case you aren't familiar with the park here are a few pics.
Union Square Park Union Square Park Well, about a week ago it was posted that an immature Scott's Oriole was in the park and had been there for about a month! At lunch time today, I jumped onto the train and scooted over. Found a group of birders, looked where they looked and behold, an Oriole! It was all of 10' from the sidewalk. It was chasing off a sapsucker who had kindly drilled some holes that the Oriole was feeding from. It also was feeding on some fruit that people had left. I should have brought a fistful of raisins. The only thing that seemed to bother the bird was the squirrels who sometimes came into view. ![]() ![]() ![]() This guy is REALLY lost... |

Hi Kristoffer
It happened to most of us. I assume you have uploaded the JPEG files to some site, say www.mysite.com/fordyxum/mypicture.jpg. Then in the editor click on the Insert Image icon, after http:// add the above address. Don't forget to click Preview Post. If the picture does not show up, there is either a typo in the above address, you have used capital letters for the file name and not for the address (or the other way around), or you have not uploaded the image. Good luck! |
