@ronghomes: Hummers are a real challenge. At the risk of boring you to tears, I hope you don't mind some advice. With a feeder you have the opportunity to get them accustomed to your presence or find a vantage point where you can observe them discreetly, and more importantly, within range of your 70-200 and with the sun at your back. Keep track over a few days of when the light is right at your feeder (early morning or late afternoon) and what time the birds arrive to feed. You may notice one bird chasing the others away. This bird will often perch in the same spot(s) close by where it can observe and defend its territory. You may get some photo ops there as well. Take up your position with camera at the ready and wait patiently for the birds to arrive (this is the hard part for me). Avoid sudden movements while they are feeding and click away. I sometimes use a tripod to help me keep the camera in position while I wait. Consider using aperture priority (f7.1 or above) to increase the DOF, then set the ISO so that your resulting shutter speed is 1/500th or faster. You may want to check out LuisV's hummingbirds (example here) for inspiration. I hope this is helpful and look forward to more of your posts.

@HPG: Great shots, Hugo! The lighting and low angle on the first two are wonderful. I like the composition in #3 (nice catch!). Detail is superb in all three.

Cheers... Brian

Pavel love your second heron!

acinonyx12345 Great shot

Ianb

Not as pin sharp as I would have liked... but a "Curious, craning, Damoiselle Crane!" - Guess the shutter speed let me down.. fairly dull day so should have set the aperture wide open!

I took a trip to Ft. Desoto Park this morning in St Petersburg FL.
Weather was less than idea with storms to south and overcast skies.
I finally photographed a white morph phase of a Reddish Egret.
