Some excellent photos in this thread. A few of my own more modest efforts:
A cheeky Noisy Miner (Manorina melanocephala) feeding from a packet of sugar in the Hunter Valley 18-250 @ 80mm, ISO 100, f/8, 1/100s Crested Pigeon (Ocyphaps lophotes) at Uluru 18-250 @ 250mm, ISO 400, f/8, 1/160s Southern Cassowary (Casuarius casuarius) at Australia Zoo (yep, a zoo bird, I cheated ) 18-250 @ 55mm, ISO 400, f/5, 1/25s Edited by Dr Hotdog - 10 March 2010 at 11:39 |

Always amazed at the shots here. Nice one Serdar and like the face off Wayne. Some Pelicans from above, not an angle I usually get.
Liked the way the shadow gave a sort of polarising effect, especially in 2. Cheers Brandy. |
