While they are not nearly as good as the other fine shots here, I was excited to see this young Cooper's Hawk in my yard. There has been a lot of loud squabbling recently as this youngster has been encroaching on the territory of a well-established adult pair. It may be one of their offspring. It would be great if they could all get along and take care of the rabbits that won't leave my garden alone. Anyway, it's not often I get to photograph one and thought I'd share two heavily cropped images...
