Stevo

Nice reflection of the "scruffy" little bird in the water. We have similar here called Dabchicks.

Was that the colour of the water?

G'day Graham

The water was brown where you could see it the lake is covered in duckweed, the green in the picture is the reflection of the trees with the odd spot of blue sky. The bird is a Grebe I think.

Cheers
Steve

@Frankman

That looks like a very familiar spot where some of those photo's are taken wouldn't happen to be around Ascot would it? I've been down there a few times and there's always plenty of Cormorants, Darters, Herons and Pelicans though I haven't taken my new camera and lens there yet.

Ian

Was going to ask how you managed to get so close - then read your info on Flickr - does help!

The three pics are great - slightly prefer the first pic of long tail tit, but the robin is my favourite.

Hope you warming up down your way.

Graham

It is slightly warmer - well a few degrees above freezing anyway! Thank you for your comments.

Lovely shot, Hotdog. I've been amazed how tame L-TTs can be. When they're on a feeding mission (as they always are!) they seem completely unconcerned by human presence as long as you stay reasonably still.
