Very nice, Serdar!
I don't think I've ever managed to get such a great result with the 300mm + 1.4x TC in the field (when I test it on tripod it is perfect, though) and that is why I usually just use the 300mm alone (and crop later). I should give it more practice.

Serdar
Excellent pics again - is this the same osprey you are training up??

Here are some of my own bif from today - all captured from a bird of prey display (even the macaw!!) rather than the wild I am afraid. Using 16-50 on A77 then cropped.

Pic 1 - Macaw 1

Pic 2 - Macaw 2

Pic 3 - Grey Hawk (ID please)

Pic 4 - Grey Hawk

Pic 5 - Barn owl 1

Pic 6 - Barn owl 2

Pic 7 - Barn owl 3

Pic 8 - Bald eagle - nearly in flight!!!

Thought was going to rain here today so only packed the 16-50 left 70-300 and 70-400 at home!! Still the 16-50 with A77 gave some results I am pleased with.

Shay: Do it!

Graham: There were 6 of them so I am not sure if this is the one from the last week.

[QUOTE=vinayn] The Fisherman - A Grey-headed Fish Eagle (Ichthyophaga ichthyaetus) that I photographed with the Sony A700 and the 70-400

Is that a taxidermy or in the wild? Lovely shot either way.

This was in the wild. In one of the forests in India.

Hols52, I think your hawk is an African Harrier-Hawk or Madagascan Harrier-Hawk.
