Thanks very much for the comments. There are about 25-30 snowy owls out there this year but none were very close to th dyke for pics. Last year they stayed until early spring. Those were taken with a 500 mirror with a 1.4 extender. Hope all is well with your family, Gustav. Serdar <here's one with exposure adjusted. I think you were right.....

Haven't posted in this thread for a while.
Here are a few shots that I took today of the Rainbow Bee-eaters currently nesting in Aus. 1: ![]() 2: ![]() 3: ![]() 4: ![]() I'm not 100% happy with them as they are all significant crops as we had to be a fair distance from them to use the perch, but still, its a start.
