I have crossed paths with the Lee A. Tregurtha on Lake Huron... not too closely though!

A photog from the U.K. directed me to the unique history of this ship. At my 54 years, I can recall some of it's other name plates over the decades and when it used to be painted white on black, BTW.
I've also chased her sister (brother/husband) ship the Paul Tregurtha in my jet-boat(s) up/down the river some time back.

This is actually not a boat nor a yacht. But what is it? It is not a ship definetivly, so now I am loosing words....

Somehow it looked funny to me!

Looks like a crane of some sort, but might tip if lifting anything really heavy. Considering the background, shallows etc. could it be a dredger?
