Not the best shot ever, but the light was ok, the ship was in the middle . . . .
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

This is one of the Havila Mars, in case anyone wonders why i post so many pics of ships it is because i work on this ones sistership, the Havila Mercury. Looks almost identical, guess the Mercury is a little bit better looking

Here is a little car ferry that did duty as supplyvessel for the rig Deepsea Atlantic when the rig was anchored up in Bjrrnafjorden south of Bergen. Usually they have larger supplyvessels, which i have posted pics of earlier, but i guess they saved some money doing it this way :)

One called the Viking Queen, an untraditional designed supplyvessel with the wheelhouse at the stern.

The Havila Saturn taking in chain, if the ship was even and no swell at all, one would just get a big pile in the middle of the chainlocker. Trimming the ship to one or the other side will make it fall into the sides of the locker as well and thus more room for chain.

It's good to see such replicas being built. Have you got one of her sailing into the frame rather than out of it?

The next time I am in Delaware, I hope to take the three hour cruise on her.

Much improved. I think you would agree that it makes for a better shot.

I have just figured that she might be using diesel rather than sail power.

no no, it's .. erm... a high efficiency string rig...
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing, as simply messing about in boats
