Doesn't look like a problem to me. Pretty good parking, I'd say.
Nice shot, too!

Christian

All those vessels look alike?

Are you on one that is similar?

The KL Saltfjord shot with the sunlight on ship and dark clouds and mountains in the back is fabulous. What a great shot. :)

Love the one of the Siem Opal. Probably because it's the most dynamic of the set, the grey, rough sea and movment of the boat works for me.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing, as simply messing about in boats

Thanks, yes my ship is called KL Sandefjord and looks exactly like the KL Saltfjord. We work on rigs etc, so we seldom see any other type of ships than offshore vessels.

There is beauty in the expression of power of these ships. Specially the Saltfjord and Siem Opal are my favorites

Hi Pelican

It was interesting seeing your shots of the start of Key West Melges 32 and Farr 40 races. I was on the large black stink boat (the Jury boat) outside the committee boat and probably have some shots of the same race taken from sea level. I will have a look, and if I can find anything worthwhile will post them for comparison (unfortunately only from Picasaweb, so resolution will be pretty lousy)

It must have been great to see the start from 'up there'

Edit...I have just been through my shots from Key West and the light was coming the other way at the starts I took, so I probably got the wrong event or on one day the wind reversed. Was it Key West?

cheers

tom
