The "Queen's" on the QM2s maiden voyage she visited the old Queen in Long beach California on Feb 23 2006.

The Queen Mary. KM5D kit lens @70mm f/14 1/1600

The Balcutha is a late 19th century, metal hulled tall ship. It's anchored in San Francisco Bay now.





The next couple are really poor photos (bad light, slow lens), but worth seeing the crew's berths, in the background amongst the machinery


compared to the Captain's quarters


And a final diversion, there was also an old ferry there that had a goldmine of classic cars from the period it was used, just a sample
