Most bridges are pieces of art by themselves, I was a bit surprise to see no dedicated thread about those constructions. Let's take care of that!

Viaduc de Millau, France. Designed by Sir Norman Foster. To give an idea of the scale, its tallest suport tower is taller than the Eiffel tower, and it carries a four lane motorway.

This is the Leonard Zakim Bridge in Boston, at the time of its opening a couple of years ago the world's widest cable stay bridge.
