A New bridge over the Penobscott River in Bucksport Maine. A spectacular site indeed.
One can get vertigo driving across. There is an observatory in the left tower. A very popular tourist spot on the way Downeast.
(That would be North for the flat-landers) I can be more specific if anyone is interested.
I almost forgot. The old bridge is still standing but totally unfit for traffic of any kind. I'll be getting another shot or two when the old bridge gets taken down.

@k9tales - nice composition on #2 but I think that your sensor requires some cleaning ...

@Bob - Lensbaby always makes me dizzy ...

This bridge was built in the 1930s next to the Colorado River.


A closed bridge over the Gila River. Taken @ 65mph

Not all bridges are nice, or even functional
This one is close to the Oelegem military fort in Belgium.
