An excellent set and welcome to Dyxum. It would be nice to see the shots a little larger, in fact. Much to admire.

Apart form the fact that there are some nice photos (I like 6, 7 and 8) they are very big. Even at my screen I can't view them in one go (24")
Do you have slightly smaller copies (say max 800-900 pixels)
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken

Here are three pictures from the National Zoo in Washington, DC and one from the North Carolina Zoo taken by my 15 year old son. Just goes to show you what can happen when you let a kid use a camera!

Not just animals at the zoo...

A100; Sony 75-300mm (75mm); ISO-100; f4.5; 1/160th

Red Panda

A100; Sony 75-300mm (200mm); ISO-400; f5.6; 1/250th

Giant Panda (playing the "flute"?)

A100; Sony 18-70mm (70mm); ISO-160; f5.6; 1/125th

Bob Cat

A100; Sony 75-300 (300mm); ISO-400; f5.6; 1/805th

Thanks for the opportunity to share these shots... Brian

Looks like I went from too small to too big, third time lucky maybe.
I have just read the FAQ section about editing the previous post and changing the links rather than repost all the piks again but its not much help. It indicates that you cannot edit your posts unless a moderator has set this up, but how do you know if the forum allows you to edit posts and what is the procedure for doing the edits if it is?
Can't waste a post by not including a few piks - hopefully they are the right size this time.

1 "Do you think a nice girl like that could go for a guy like me?"
A700+Bigma, 1/60 sec, f6.3, ISO 400, 500mm

2 "Remind me not to steal big brother's dinner again"
A700+Bigma 1/500 sec, f8, ISO 200, 500mm

3 "How many times do I have to tell you?"
A700+Bigma 1/90 sec, f6.7, ISO 800, 75mm

4 "Up in the sky, Its a bird, Its a plane, Its.."
A700+Bigma+2xTC 1/500 sec, f22, ISO 1250, 1000mm

A900+VG, Sig12-24, Sig24-70 2.8 HSM, Sig50-500 APO OS HSM, Sig70-200 f2.8 HSM, Sig50 1.4 HSM, Sig105 2.8 macro, Sony70-400G, Metz76MZ-5, AF 2X MC7 telecon, NEX-VG20EH+LA+EA2

In Open Views and Themed Views you should be able to edit you own posts using the drop down menu "Post options".
