As in Lue NSW, Australia.
I have been very lax and naughty not posting much as I travel around in my 15' home on wheels aka a caravan.
My 10yr plan made on my 70th birthday last August is spend the next 10yrs travelling around Australia basically one state at a time.

I will, soon I hope. start a travelogue of selected images.
In the meantime these few from a small village with the pub,old store now an arty place, and abandoned station just off the highway between Rylstone where I farm-sat for 3 months last summer, and Mudgee.
I think I may have posted the link before but here is most of my travels to date if you are feeling adventurous and not on a tight travel schedule
An Aussie Adventure

#1 The old pub, and a sidekick

#2 the sidekick, now an art school of sorts

#4 Thought I'd try a different treatment of the station

#5 a bit more traditional

Howard,
Sounds like a fabulous adventure, and we at Dyxum are privileged to be seeing glimpses of it through your eyes.
This is a fine set, and although the B&W images have a lovely quality, I'm drawn to the definitive colours of the Australian outback so I hope you'll show us more of those along the journey.
Mainly for that reason, my favourite is #4.

BTW, I had a quick look at your linked Zenfolio and immediately recognised those wonderful shots of the working dogs in the back of the ute. If my memory serves me, one of those made POTW?

Thanks for sharing, and looking forward to many more.

A great endeavor, Howard - and it seems to be an opportunity to do more outstanding photographic work!

I like the B/W approach very much - although #4 is excellent as well! Hope we see more images of your adventure!

TFS!

Dear HappyJack;
Man after my own heart, having a serious case of the wonderLust. I totally understand, I've also had and have that travel bug. Can't think of a better country to do this 10 yr. long sojourn. The good part is being a master photographer you can send us images of your exploits.
Nevada is replete w subject matter like your photos above and are favorites of mine. Love your B&W's they are very inviting, but like Joe says, "I'm drawn to the definitive colours of the Australian outback" also

Good Luck_____and may the wind be at your back
