We usually get one or two brief snow dumps out here per season, and this year's is exceptional! We got a little under 2 feet in two days this past weekend. Raining now on Monday, and it will all be gone in a few days as it is returning to well above freezing. Nice to see it come.... nice to see it go! But great fun while it lasted! ;) The images are mostly of our Zachary.... the first is of our neighbor's wee one and a quick portrait of them they asked me to snap while out for our walk on the trail behind our house. Little "K" was MOST responsive to my funny faces... or perhaps face. lol

A two minute walk away, the neighborhood decided that their very steep and (still) unplowed residential street was better utilized as a sledding hill.  8. A long climb to the top!  9. Great series, the relatively bright out of focus backgrounds give all the photos a nice and luminous atmosphere. And I agree with Addy on #7.

I use to visit friends from time to time in Victoria and i also spent a whole winter there (such a nice to live by the way). So it is so surprising to see the amount of snow you guys have ! Almost a shock ! Wow ! Take care, Jacques |

It was quite a happy shock to us too! More even than forecast, its the most snow on the ground I have seen since moving here in 2008. :) And yes, we DO love it here! I don't often miss Ontario. Cheers Mike |
