I have an A7 that I want to use Minolta style hotshoe flashes on (newer Sony made ones I use on my a900).

The Sony ADP-MAA seems to be what I need.

Is that correct?

Is there a cheap 3rd party alternative?

Thanks. That's a more sensible price.

Look for the Meike MK-300 flash. Compact flash with Minolta shoe and comes with adapters for MI shoe and nex cameras. TTL and manual mode.

Be careful with Meike:

I tried the Meike MK320-S flash, although the version with the Sony hotshoe.

On the A77II the flash worked ok, but on the A55 and my Konica-Minolta DiMAGE A2 (using the ADP-AMA adapter), the TTL mode of the flash did not work at all.

I have the mk300 with Minolta shoe and it works perfectly on the old bodies and also with adapter on the a68 and nex6. The 320 is MI shoe and have a full articulated head.

Hello...Sony ADP-MAA streak connector to put streak with locking Sony/Minolta foot, on A6000 with standard hotshoe. Connector sent to me is an ADP-AMA which does the inverse. It puts a standard hot shoe streak on the Nex7 body. Anybody need to exchange for their ADP - MAA ?
