Hey there, thanks for the links. I'm not sure if i'm being stupid but I can't seem to find the part number for the textured plastic that goes around the hand grip for my A33 (i'm guessing the a55 and a35 share the same part?). I've checked every diagram on Sears and can't see it marked out?

Thanks for reading.

Edit ; It appears there's a rear grip (not even sure if that's the same type of grip i'm looking for) but no front one. Weird.

some parts dont appear to be available in singular, as like the mode dial on my A57 isn't available by its self, i have to buy the top cover assembley - the whole top body plastic.

so your part maybe the whole front plastic with the grip on it (i'm presuming its the part of the grip below the power switich with the IR sensor in?

if so that maybe item 152 on here

Yup, the area with the IR sensor.

Eek that's a little more expensive than i'd be willing to pay to fix some minor cosmetic damage.

Thanks for finding it.

Recently I had to order a new mirror for my A77. After spending a bit of time on the phone with Sony for the part #, etc., they gave me a phone # for this site, Encompass Parts Distribution;

parts

I got the feeling they aren't used to dealing directly with an individual consumer like me, but they got me what I needed.

And here's a link to a youtube video on changing the mirror.

Sticky again
Whenever you change something in the OP, the sticky tag will disappear. In that case you can contact one of the admins/mods (you can contact me, for example) to fix it.
