Not if you shoot at the wide end. The longer zooms in the VI and VII start at f/2.8 even at their widest end.
Yes, you're right. And I use it a lot at wide end for everyday indoors shots. I still don't know if F1.8 is sharp enough (probably yes) and DOF is always sufficient.

Hey, I am happy that I mentioned it and that you replied. I am sure I read that there is mono sound only and I was disappointed. I have just tried it, yes the sound is stereo. Thank you. If you haven't written that, I would live with wrong information.
