Great shots AGIL. Nice 'off the lip' captures however a bit dark on the surfers. Therefore also for me #2 stands out. TFS

Thank you all for the comments.
Yes, in order to be closer to the action I had to choose a location where surfers were sometimes backlit.

Jens, great shot with the telephoto compression and the B&W rendering. Thanks for sharing.

Owww.. I hope both horse and rider are alright..
These falls give me the chills.
I had a friend who was very active in the jumpingsport (mostly military I think it is called) and she fell of.. horse fell on there and she broke her back. But you captured the action very well.

Thanks!

Yes rider and horse are both well. Rider said afterwards, ah well thatís horses for you, or words to that effect. Horseís comments werenít recorded ...

The A7 III does 10 fps and so I had enough frames to select some interesting moments.

Still at the Dew Pond jump at Blenheim. This is a two-fence jump with a pond between them. You've seen a rider fall at the second part and horses splash through the pond. Here's the first fence and a small sequence of one rider going over it in three frames - I like how the look on the rider's face changes as the jump progresses (all went well - no falls):

Great paso, especially like 1 and 6, the latter especially for the look in his eyes. Great panning
Mind the bandwidth of others, don't link pictures larger then 1024 wide or 960 pix high, see here
