Oh I definitely want this. If I can get in on this I would love to have my Maxxum 9 upgraded.

That's pretty impressive work from all involved.
Kinda makes me wish I had a D9 to upgrade!

Good morning, Matthias;

     Speaking as one of the Maxxum/Dynax 9 owners who have asked to be included on the list of people who want to have the upgrade done to their camera, please tell us (and me) what we should do now.

          Enjoy;

          Ralph Javins

Hi Ralph,

let me answer you, even if you didnīt ask me.

As already posted, we are working on a solution for you guys from outside the EU and overseas to make the upgrade less costly in all aspects. What we donīt need now is impatience, sorry! We all have a full-time job and do all this in our spare time.

Greetings,
Rolf

P.S. Maybe we Germans are not known as good lovers, good story tellers, charming, etc. ( there are exceptions, believe me ;-))....but, but, we know how to organize and to sort things out, hehehe.

I am in awe of the effort all the contributors of this thread have put forth and want to say thank you to each and every one of them. I want to have the upgrade performed on my 9, but was wondering how much the others interested were willing to pay for a German facilitator to handle the interim routing from places abroad. I would be glad to pay a generous service fee to have this work done by this very competent service center. I would like to know what others think, which might give impetus to those who could help.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

They did a good job on the "brain surgery" however I also requested the top screen to be re-glued and another person's camera had this done instead while I have that on my invoice - not sure if it cost extra

Regardless, any repair shop is prone to errors

My big thank (and also by my friend Giulio) to Runtime, the German labs that did the upgrade of our Dynax 9 with SSM/ADI modules. The guys has made an excellent work, the cams work like a charm with my SSM lenses

But the biggest thank you goes to Rolf (aka Conny1) for the excellent logistic help in shipping to and from Germany!
Great, great, great!

I am wondering if there are any Minolta 9 SSM upgrades still available? The last post on here over a year ago says there were 200 pcs available... any update?

Thanks

Adam

Yes, there are still more than 100 boards available. 25 cams were upgraded for Dyxumers from Canada, USA (most), Italy, China, Hong Kong, Latvia, Russia, Portugal and Great Britain w/ my assistance.
I know of other upgrades for cameras from USA, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Israel, Poland and Germany...of course.

Edit: German Dyxum member Thomas G., living in Texas, was/and still is of biggest help, to save some money for our US guys asking for the upgrade in Germany. Thank you, Thomas! I very much appreciate how I can count on you.

Regards,
Rolf

Thanks, I have two 9 bodies that I would like to upgrade. I would probably send them via Airmail.

Who do I send them to and what is the curent turn around time and cost including return shipment to the USA via Airmail? What payment method is accepted?

Thanks

Adam

Good day to all,

I was wondering if any member might have a SSM manual describing the added functions of the SSM upgrade. I have a Maxxum 9 upgraded by Runtime, but don't have a custom function manual. I was wondering if the Runtime upgrade included the added functions of the 9Ti? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Greg

Hi Greg,

I have the 3 page instructions that came with the upgrade. PM me your email address and I will get them scanned.

Niraj.
