So Runtime is the only place left to get the ssm upgrade? And they are in Germany? And they only accept orders from inside Germany? What is an American to do if he/she missed out on the first group upgrade?

I jyst got mine yesterday from Conny1 (Rolf) after the upgrade. It works like a charm and Runtime checked it and fixed a few problems that I was facing. Especially with Focus points! Hats Off to Runtime for the magic they done with my Maxxum 9. I live this Camera and Now I know mine will operate like new (Almost looks like one too, after Cleaning from Runtime). THANK YOU RUNTIME

I have to give big credit to Rolf "Conny1" too. He is a great asset to this already full of assets FORUM. Rolf was kind, responsive and tireless. THANK YOU ROLF

I second Mohammed's affirmation. My 9 was screwed up and Runtime fixed it and I cannot say enough for Rolf for putting all this together and helping everyone. If more commerical firms had this approach and demeanour to customer satisfaction, the world would be a much better place!!!

Thanks again Rolf and Runtime
Tim

I had mine done when Conn ( bless his soul) first announced this upgrade. It works just fine. I was out shooting with mine this weekend with my Sigma 50mm us on it.
Many kudos to Conn and, yes, it is worth g
Doing. Runtime checked my 9 out and fixed something wrong with the AF system

I know there is not a great deal of discussion on this topic of late, but if anyone is interested in finally parting with their SSM converted Minolta 9, I would be interested, so PM me.
