I saw this highly suspicious listing on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Sony-Alpha-A7R-36-4MP-Digital-Camera-Three-Lens-and-Three-Flashlights/153397650776?hash=item23b7366558:g:1V4AAOSwPjNceBLq&frcectupt=true

It appears to be stolen as the seller didn't write anything about the lenses or the camera model. For what I can see, these are the items:
Sony A7R III (yes, the mark III 3 A7RIII A7R3) with battery grip
Sony 85mm f/1.4 FE GM
Sony Carl Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 FE ZA
Sony Carl Zeiss Batis 18mm f/2.8
Promaster camera Backpack

Can someone also post this on the Fred Miranda forums? I'd suggest to make high bids and not pay to the seller.

Please don't buy anything stolen. Hopefully the owner can recover his/hers equipment

I do not do eBay, but shouldn't one report dubious listing to eBay?

I think what you propose is in violations of eBay rules....

Posting on Fred Miranda might be a good idea.

That user has 443 transactions but hasn't bought or sold anything in more than a year. The account might have been hijacked, meaning a buyer won't receive anything.

There's also the faint possibility that it's legitimate.

I'd suggest to make high bids and not pay to the seller.

That violates eBay policy and could damage the bidder's own reputation.

I'd suggest reporting it to eBay as a suspected fraudulent listing by using the Report Item link.

Looks like the listing has been removed. That link does not retrieve the ebay page.
Nothing is as it first appears.

You're right. Reporting the listing is better than bidding.

Silly question from me, but how do you know this is stolen gear?

I also don't do Ebay.. more because most items don't ship (or it's hellishly expensive) to my country.

Considering that each one of those lenses alone is worth more than what that current bid is and the camera is worth twice that is the first red flag, and then checking the sellars past sells feedback that have all been for low dollar used ceramics and dishware tells me that account was hacked.

You can tell that is stolen gear because of the poor description. That's just an assumption, but that's the most probably scenario. Also, there's no sign of the boxes of the items and there isn't any charger there. Someone who knows what he/she has would say something about the usage, the accessories everything comes with, etc. Also, the seller's feedback seems a little suspicious.

That's a good guess. The seller account may have been hacked.

My intention was not to sabotage this listing. My intention was to let someone (whose equipment was stolen) know that their stuff could be that one on eBay.

Ah yes at second glance it does look fishy... I hadn't noticed how off the price was.

I suppose it could be legit, maybe someone who'd passed relative wanting to shift the gear without being clued up or something. But unlikely.

If that were me I'd have done some more research on what the stuff is worth. Come to think of it I'd have done just that if I was the thief too!

Good catch.

I don't get what the price indicates, since it is in auction format. Apart from that: yes, highly suspicious.

I'd expect to at least see a minimum bid requirement, that's like $7000 worth of gear offered up.
