I use only free range, organic pixels. Some pixels have been processed, but no pixels were injured in the creation of my images. All pixels are returned to the wild.

Reuben, I am very impressed! It is the old town in Beer Sheva!
Since Beer Sheva is not an attraction for tourists, I assume you used to live around here?

Hi Rov

Thought so, was having a 'discussion' with my wife about it, I won :)

No, sadly, I am one of those - weird - tourists who just loves the "Capital of the South". Some of my lifetime happiest memories were of just hanging out in the bus station people-watching, oh and the fruit stalls in the Bedou market!

Sadly this was before I got a proper camera so didn't get good pictures, but ah the memories and now better, have got a camera I can use!

Actually, come to think of it, that might make for a really interesting post, on security considerations for street/architecture photos in Israel. In the smaller cities eg Arad - but not Dimona ;) - it wouldn't be a problem I guess but I'd be interested if anyone can suggest something for more 'high profile' places shall we say like TA/Yerushalayim/Eilat.

Reuben

PS: I always stayed in the Old Town (the Aviv Hotel) and don't eat meat so can't comment on the Shawarma, but the falafel&salad bar to the left was a fave, if you're ever nearby again might you be able to take a picture of it for me/for this thread, please?

Sorry, Pieter. The rain kept us inside, so this thread was a welcome distraction. A quick improvisation; yours is better.
