Another set from this weekend, taking advantage of the beautiful weather on Sunday with a stroll at the HeiloeŽr forest/Nijenburg estate, just around the corner from home.

Some pictures of the nature and environment there.

#1 Bee on foxeye

#2 Dragonfly (couldn't catch it in flight )

Amazing what 42MP enables in terms of cropping

#3 The main building

#4 The lodge

#5 Some chickens near the old Nijenburg farm

#6 Together

#7 Old gardener's house on the estate

#8 Showing off

#9 Nijenburger road

#10 Foxglove

#11 View from the forest on the main building.
In front of the house there is a wide empty strip in the forest which allowed the inhabitants to look at sun down exactly at June 21

#12 Geese and ducks

All with 70-400G on A99ii, except #12 (Trioplan 2.8/100mm)

TFL
C&C welcome as usual.

A very colorful selection with a serene mood!

I like the "architectural" images most, #3 and especially #11 (love the light on these tree trunks!). But I find #9 also very appealing in its simplicity.

TFS, Fred!

What a wonderful gallery! Also #7 and especially #11, for me, look like painting work of arts.

Thanks all for the kind comments! My own favourites are #7 and 11.
I must have passed this building a zillion times, took pictures several times, but this time the light was very nice indeed.
As for the serene mood as Harald mentioned, I was surprised how quiet it was this Sunday afternoon.
Lucky to have this scene just around the corner (although still jealous about the mountain sceneries around some of you).
