Sunset over a lake in residential area.

The vertical ray over the sun(which is already under the horizon) is caused by reflection in falling ice crystals in high level clouds.

Glorious autumn day, an easing of the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions, so it was off to Brighton Beach and Marina, Melbourne as the sun went down.

All a99ii with CZ 24-70mm f2.8 Vario-Sonnar, except the big ball sunset (#4) taken with the Minolta 500mm f8 AF Reflex.
