Day 120
A900 Biometar 120/2,8 for PSIX, tilt adapter

In my opinion Carl Zeiss Jena made 2 superb lensess for PSIX:
Sonnar 180/2,8
Biometar 120/2,8

Now Biometar 120/2,8
ISO 200
f2,8
time - varies

That's a great lens for spring, jalu! I like the contrast in 10-3-13. And ducks 2 is a nice capture too.

A pity you didn't have any company on Day 120.

And I hoped to see some nice 125mms as well.

Oh well. Some Great Days coming up!

Three in a row!!!
Monday May 13 (yes, I know, another Monday ...)
Tuesday May 14
Wednesday May 15

Watch this place!

Arghhhhh. I took my Tair apart to fix something, now it's with all the other lenses I have "fixed". Have another one on the way, but won't get here on time.

I like what I've seen from the 120 Biometar; maybe next year for me.
Regards,

woodrim

Tomorrow is Monday May 13,
and that's:
DAY 133

It's a One Lens Day (OLD): the Tair 133/2.8. Last year woodrim and I had a transatlantic shoot out but unfortunately ... (read the post above )
Since then I know of at least one member who has acquired this beautiful lens. So I hope to see at least one other contributor tomorrow, Monday or not.

And don't forget

Wednesday is May 15
and that's:
DAY 135

Everyone has at least one 135 and many have two; and some have 12 or more.
So get yourselves and your lenses ready!!!

AND: logically speaking

Tuesday must be May 14
and that's:
DAY 500 of 2012

Great Day for birding! I'd love to see some kingfishers!

Not all of us own a 500/4. But the Minolta/Sony Mirror 500 -the poor man's 500- is a great lens too! And let's not forget the very respectable Sigma and Tamron zooms that have 500mm at the far end.

So let's make Day 500 a Day to remember.
NB: post your shots in the Day Prime 2012 thread!

Alas it will not be here in time, but here is my replacement, complete with "Passport". Time permitting, I may try to salvage the other one in time.

Regards,

woodrim

Hope the replacement performs well and you don't have to wait until day prime 2014 to post some shots!

@Leo: #3 raised a big but I love #5 with that wobbly reflection and recursive windows

Thanks Tim.
And good of you to join me! Your photos illustrate what struck me now (and what struck me last year): 133mm is really tele! Even on FF.
For some reason I'm always surprised with this lens how little it captures. Maybe it's not 133 at all, but more like 200?

And I wouldn't have minded some close-ups of the badminton players!

Oh yes, but so many choices. Well, maybe not. I'll just use the same three or four I always use. Hmmmm, maybe a few pelican shots.

woodrim
