Willem, it's number 2 for me. Such a vivid red colour. 4 also gives that special STF feel and the faint cobweb is nice to see against that background.
Kitschi - that lens lets you get impressive details and a nice close up set. The bokeh CA seems quite strong though. - the foreground and background petals are showing some definite green / purple edges Jalu #1 for me. I love that shallow DOF look. |

Sadly, I have but one 135mm lens. Thus my entry for today is just from the 135 STF on an a99.
These are of the plant right outside my front door: I liked the colors in the folded umbrellas: Edited by MediaArchivist - 16 May 2013 at 00:42 |

A few from an old Petri breech mount 135mm 3.5, from about 1964, this one is in mint condition, bought for 12 pounds, the early ones like this were probably made by Petri Kurabayashi themselves though the even earlier Orikkors may have been made or designed by Kyoei. I like the colours it produces and the bokeh is not bad either.
Japonica 1. Japonica 2. Pink Thingies 1. Pink Thingies 2. Pink Thingies 3. These were all taken wide open or a half click down at f4 on the A99, minimal or no pp. And a few from the 135mm 3.5 RE Auto Topcor. It`s stuck at about 5.6 at present and has mild fungus on three elements but I really like Topcor lenses and this one is no exception so it`s my next fixer upper. Son mono 1. Son colour 1. Son scowl Mermaid bokeh Edited by Macca - 15 May 2013 at 23:46 |

Very good contributions so far!
Willem: that simple tap is just wonderful Mikey: #3 jalu: good to see your cat again; #1 for me! MediaArchivis: poor you, to have to make do with only the STF. Macca: you may win the prize for the most exotic lens(es) (again) but perhaps woodrim will bring sth even more exotic. Great IQ for both! Pity that Topcor has a few problems. But the photos are excellent. Son scowl is my favourite. I used the ZA Sonnar 1.8 today but will post them tomorrow. |
