The A6400 seems to have problems with the Godox TT350S. Here are a set of pictures of my closet, taken with three different flash units - the 350s, the Godox 685S and the Sony FVL-F32M. Settings are Auto TTL, No flash or exposure compensation, exposure compensation ambient only.

All the flashes work with the RX10IV that I use a lot. Thanks for looking. UPDATE 1 Additional testing. I took pictures with my 90mm macro and the tt350s. Interestingly, the flash worked fine. 350S 90mm f2.8 ![]() 350S 90mm f14 ![]() And the 105mm end of the 18-105 is still underexposed (it was as before). Edited by Almazar80 - 20 July 2019 at 01:36 |

Don't have the 6400 but I've never had any issues with the 350S and the A99II on camera or off with the either transmitter, R2T-S and R2 XPro-S.

Thanks for the response. The TT350S works with every other Sony camera I used with it. Except the A6400. The TT685S works fine, but not the TT350S. I have two TT350S and they exhibit the same behavior. I actually returned my first A6400 because I thought it had a problem. It turns out the A6400/TT350S is problematic (at least for me). Maybe a firmware upgrade can fix this.

I bought a used HVL-F32M so that I can have a compact flash to use with the A6400. Works well. I used to have an HVL-F43M but I sold it when I bought some Godox flash units. They work well with the other Sony cameras, but with the A6400, the smaller flash unit seems problematic. Thanks for the response. And great POTW.

Current firmware for the 350S is V1.8 and all it did was add the wireless I.D. to the C function menu.

I have the firmware up to 1.8 when I did the testing. I added two more pictures in the original post. It's all sort of strange.
