A HUGE thanks to Paul AKA Maewpa for the gift of his spare Minolta 400/4.5 hood. Yes... I said GIFT! He offered it to me for the price of postage. Not for sale he said.

This, even after my reminding him this hood was worth something... like $150 USD easy. Last one I saw for sale sold for over $200.

Even after my sending a little extra anyway - he chose to spend some of that on getting it to me in 5 days from Thailand - not cheap.

This... is the kindness and generosity he has.

And.. I REALLY appreciate it! The 400/4.5 is one of my most used lenses, and it has always rankled that I don't have the proper hood for it. And now I do!
