Also much thanks to tobyjay for the remarkably easy exchange of my 135 for his 80-200 - both great lenses that might get swapped back one day

Highly recommended!

Cheers

Thanks ddavisart for patiently waiting for the e-check to clear and for selling me the 8mm fisheye for a very good price. The lens arrived safely without being taxed by Canadian custom.

I have finalised a great deal with JT National Park for an A700 with VG.

Not only was the price an excellent one, my dealings with JT were beyond and above what one could reasonably expect.

When I first sounded him out he promptly responded with a comprehensive set of pics of the camera and grip, together and separately. Then when I queried if the dials worked OK, he took a series of short videos to show that it was not suffering "wheel-itis" as this model sometimes does.

Today I took receipt of the camera -- the grip is being sent separately for customs reasons. Virtually the only way one could have figured that this was not a brand new item was the fact that some of the plastic bags were no longer there. But it all looked in "Near Mint" quality.

Thanks JT -- I await the VG with eager anticipation. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone else purchasing gear from you (I understand there may be another A700 plus VG in the wings.)

Cameron
