This poll is to find out what sort of lenses members are adapting to E mount and to what extent.

If you use some other form of EXIF capable adapters, Autofocus Dumb adapters, or speed-boosters it would be great to hear about them in an accompanying post then we can refine any follow-up polls.

For A-mount use on E-mount I have an LA-EA1 and LA-EA4. For all other old rangefinder and other mount manual lenses I have dumb adapters (OM, MC/MD, Leica M (of which some have a built-in helicoil), M42, M39, Exacta, Konica, .....)

I also have one Metabones speed booster for OM lenses but that doesn't see much use since I got an E-mount full frame camera. It is however a great piece of glass for use of old manual lenses close to their original field of view on an APS-C body.

Except for the Sony adapters none of my other adapters transfer EXIF or do AF.

I tend to not use A mount lenses on my E mount bodies , they work better on A mount bodies .
Adapted lenses I use on E- mount mainly use dumb adapters , Minolta SR , Contax C/Y , Olympus OM etc .

The only adapted A/F lenses that tend to get used on E mount are Canon EF ones .
Very rarely though .

In addition to dumb adapters and an LA-EA3 I use a Sigma MC-11 adapter for SA-mount.

I am wondering if which option I should choose: in addition to LA-EA3, LA-EA4 and various adapters for older manual focus systems, I do own Commlite EF-NEX adapter, but I cannot say I really use it since I don't currently own any EF lenses. In fact, the original inspiration to get it (and deliberately choose cheaper alternative than Sigma MC-11 or Metabones) was the idea that when I hang around with Canon shooting (bird) photographers I might be able to borrow their lenses at times, but so far that sort situation has not really arrived and I guess my aqcuisitions of RX10 IV and now FE200-600G make the idea of borrowing Canon lenses even less likely. Especially as the trend has been that quite a few people who have been using Canon system have now swapped to Sony system...
