I think most people like the 70-350mm. Don't think I have come across anyone that doesn't tbh. Seems to be much loved telephoto addition to the e-mount lineup much like the 200-600mm.

How about adding a lens review to Dyxum? The 70-350 only has two reviews! |

Miranda F & Sensorex, Sony A7Rii, A58, Nex-6, Dynax 4, 5, 60, 500si/600si/700si/800si, various Sony & Minolta lenses, several Tamrons, lots of MF primes and *far* too many old film cameras ...

I was watching Gerald Undone's video on the Sony FX3 and he said he had to send the camera back and that these are his thoughts - and I was thinking: yes, of course but you won't be too critical because you will not receive a testing copy the next time if you are too critical. In December NVIDIA send an email to a smaller but still large Youtubber saying they would not provide him with an early copy of a video card because they did not like his methodology - aka they did not like the results he posted. Like all the PC testers say: look at as many reviews as possible. Reviewers walk a fine line between being honest and keeping the companies happy. I have no doubt Marc Galer is telling the truth when he says he is using his 70-350G in specific circumstances. So, yes, I believe him. (also when he was clearly annoyed with the A1 test by the Northrops without mentioning their names ![]() |
