It's almost a year I'm using the Samyang 75/1.8 as a portrait lens on my a6000. I like the longer reach it has wrt to classical 50ish lenses like 50 OSS, Sigma 56, ecc.

The small size and weight, combined with a good AF are a plus to me.

For all the rest Sony Zeiss 24/1.8 is more than eough

This thread has got quite lively since I was gone for a bit.

Last year I made a push to transition mostly to the E-mount (motivated by the advantages I saw in the mount for landscape photography).

The lineup I have reflects the main uses I have for my kit.
The Landscape Set
15mm f4.5 Voigtländer
21mm f2.8 Zeiss Loxia
35mm f2 Zeiss Loxia
50mm f2 Zeiss Loxia
85mm f2.4 Zeiss Loxia

I'm very happy with the lenses above.

The Macro Set
70mm f2.8 Macro Sigma (not really a planned purchase, but it appeared in our local 2nd hand market and my low bid was accepted)
110mm f2 Macro Voigtländer (also for landscapes when I want that extra reach)

The Event Set
24-105mm f4 Sony (an excellent general purpose lens)
85mm f1.8 Zeiss Batis (for when you want those portrait shots)

The Wildlife Set
150-500mm f5-6.7 Tamron

I originally had a Sigma 100-400 but when the Tamron was released, traded it in for the Tamron. For my purposes it fell in my sweet spot between the Sony 200-600mm and the 100-400mm options. I got more reach and the lens body was (just) compact enough to take hiking.
